Coronavirus Information dated  07.04.22

With the easing of restrictions and end of free lateral flow tests, the onus is on the public is to use common sense and not visit anyone if experiencing any of the twelve symptoms of Covid and it’s variants or any other contagious illness.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms in adults - NHS (www.nhs.uk)

Please advise me if anyone of the parties becomes unwell at least 18 hours before the session to avoid a rebook fee to heat the studio again for your rescheduled shoot. I understand that little ones often have runny noses due to teething etc, please check their temperature if you are unsure. I will be lateral flow testing before every client for my own piece of mind. Thank you.

Coronavirus Information dated  05.10.21

Mini Me Photography is following government advice on testing with lateral flow tests even if Asymptomatic.

Mini Me Photography will test in the morning before your appointment and is hoping that clients follow suit for peace of mind of both parties.

Rescheduling because of covid won’t impose any penalties to you.

Currently, there will be only one client per day with 48 hours apart to allow for deep cleaning.

Unless mini sessions in which the set will be cleaned between timeslots.

The windows will be open to allow air circulation, unless it is detrimental to the subject.

Clients will be required to remove shoes upon entry.

Hand washing is required upon entry, drying with disposable towel provided.

Hand Sanitiser is available for small babies.

Accessories that are delicate will be UV light sanitised afterwards, everything else used will be washed regardless of being soiled or not.

I will be wearing clean clothing and a medical grade mask or other face covering for vulnerable groups such as maternity, newborn babies or clients who have weakened immune systems. I will wear a mask for other genres if it will make you feel more comfortable.

Please come dressed ready for your appointment.

Ideally one parent per family and no spectators.

Bring your own refreshments and drinks.

Please take all rubbish home.

Thank you.

Coronavirus Information dated 22.02.21

All being well, Mini-Me Photography should be able to reopen the studio from April 12th 2021. Yey!

Pre-booked clients from Dec, Jan, Feb & March will be prioritised over new bookings.  Firm dates will be given closer to the time.

New bookings are advised to book in your newborn shoot ASAP for May onwards due dates as until I have caught up on rescheduled shoots and the editing involved, I can only take on a maximum of 4 per month.

Many Thanks.

Coronavirus Information dated 11.01.21

Still under the National Lockdown measures and closed for business.

Clients who have missed their shoots entirely will be prioritised as soon as I'm able to open again.

If the window of opportunity has gone, ie.  a maternity session and no longer pregnant, or a newborn who is now over 10 weeks old, you will have the option to move your booking to another milestone or a different type of shoot.

Coronavirus Information: dated 31.08.20

I will be opening on a part time basis from Mid July 2020 for all age groups except for babies under 6 month olds. Newborns will be from September one per week only.

The good news is that my studio space is in a separate building from my home. To minimise the risks to both parties, I have carried out a risk assessment and have moved the layout around to accommodate a good distance between you and I. It is possible to photograph 2 metres apart for most shoots with parents assistance by keeping baby on the backdrop.

Newborn shoots, I will not be able to be socially distanced with baby, if you are wanting the style shown in my portfolio as it is impossible for me to position baby safely without being close up, face to face contact.

Here are the Covid Secure Precautions:

There will be only one client per day, 72 hours apart so therefore reduced capacity.

The Studio will be deep cleaned and sanitised, prior to and after your appointment.

The windows will be open to allow air circulation.

Clients will be required to leave their shoes at the door.

Hand washing is required upon entry, drying with disposable towel provided.

Hand Sanitiser is available for small babies.

I will only be using props, outfits, and accessories that can be washed at 60 degrees or UV light sanitised, therefore not everything will be available.

I will be wearing clean clothing and a medical grade mask or other face covering.

Please come dressed ready for your appointment.

People not being photographed will be required to bring a face covering or I can provide a disposable mask available at a small fee to cover the cost.

Ideally one parent per family and no spectators.

Bring your own refreshments and drinks.

Please take all rubbish home.

In person “Viewing and Ordering sessions” may be substituted with password protected online galleries instead.

Any mixed households who are not in your bubble, it's location shoots only.

Anyone showing signs of illness will be asked to return home. A medical grade thermometer is available in the studio, but I am asking all clients to check in the morning of the appointment and not attend if showing any symptoms as my own little boy is in the vulnerable category and if he falls sick,  not only would this be a potentially life threatening for him but as a lone parent I would then not have any form of income and all of my bookings would need to be cancelled.

Session fees are transferable but not refundable and by making a booking you accept that all shoot dates and pre bookings may need to be postponed if government force closure to non essential business's again. If we go back into lockdown, rebooking will prioritised in this order -

Maternity sessions, Newborns with the oldest newborns given priority first dates, Cakesmashes, Family Shoots, then any other shoots.

This page will be updated if any significant changes occur.

Thank you for reading and take care of yourselves.
